Recall

I still recall the nights we talked
And stayed up half the night
It made amends for times we'd walked
Away from bitter fights

And still I know the ins and outs
Of every curve you have
The way you press your lips to pout
Whenever you were mad

Your singing carries to this day
Inside this broken mind
How did we get so far away
How were we both so blind

I still remember, and I miss
The better days we had
And I would surely be remiss
To say I wasn't sad
